a buddy of mine gave me (4) 5 1/4 alpine speakers and was wanting to put em in my truck but not sure where. was gona put em in the doors where the factory ones are but those are 5x9's. not sure what size are in the back pillars yet. already have the subs, amp, and head unit. any ideas, it's an 08 f250 crew cab

I just have an extended cab, but measured mine and they were 6x8's. I was thinking about doing a component conversion myself, possibly doing 6.5's

there all 6x8's in these trucks. you could buy an adapter for them to fit in the stock holes though. go on Crutchfield!
