LED Bed Lights

Had these laying around the garage for a few weeks, so finally put them in yesterday. Wired them thru the cab (drilled a small hole and used a rubber grommet) and ran it up behind the headliner. Tapped into the bed light/3rd brake light so the lights activate when the doors open or via the dimmer switch on the console. Good for my late night atv rides or early morning fishing trips. I've been looking at doing this. What made you decide on this brand versus another since there are so many different ones?

My buddy bought them first and said they were pretty durable. Not your typial eBay junk. Plus they give you free shipping and a 1 year warranty. Not bad for $60. Install was a piece of cake. Hardest part was just running wires thru here and there. My buddy installed his lights a little lower and at an angle so it actually lights up the entire bed. I put mine higher so the LED's aren't visible, sacrificing the center dark area in the bed.

They literally just stick on with 3m backing tape that is on the back of the LED. But they come with small screws should you need to screw them on. I had to clip one side of the metal tabs with some dykes to get the LED's to fit high and tight up in there so they aren't visible.

Right on. I just ordered them. If anyone else does the same, use the "chat" feature and ask if they have any discounts. I got $4 off...not much, but it's something.

FYI, when you tap into the courtesy light outside the back of the cab, the BLUE wire will be your positive and the BLACK will be the ground.

They look good wish they lit up the middle of the bed haha looks dark and scary in there lol

You can mount them at a lower angle to illuminate the middle but then the bulbs are visible.
