Remove TPMS on 08 F250?

I getting my truck lifted and I know that the tire pressure for the new tires is 30 psi below the stock tire pressure? Is is possible to remove it with out the light coming on? Are can we have the sensors reprogrammed? What options do we have? I hate all this stupid @ss bullsh!t that you really don't need....

To my knowledge there is no way around it. You gunna have to live with it. or go to an E load tire. I mess with TPMS sencer every day and have never found a way around it, Other then running an E load tire that can support the pressure.

I read somewhere that all 2008 (2009?) vehicles under 10,000 lbs. will have to have a TPMS system.

I also read that people that want to change wheels and tires are constructing small, home made PVC canisters with an air valve inserted on one end. The way it works is you build your canister to hold all four of your sensors, put them in there and screw on the end cap. Then, using the valve you put in it, pump up the canister to the correct pressure so all the sensors think they're inside your tires and are happy. Then throw it under the back seat and forget about them. When the TPMS sensor goes off, just pull out the canister and pump it back up to the correct pressure.

I don't think I have it as I've gone to 38" tall tires and they run less air pressure than the stock tires.

I'm going to be running 40's on 22's and the pressure is on 55 PSI and the stock 20's is at 80 psi! I guess I'm gonna go with the canister route thats the smartest idea I heard to date. That light would drive me ape sh!t!

They probably have to just disable them with the Ford ECU Scan Tool.
