Adding 09 Nav unit to 09 Lariat 250??

I am sure this has been brought up multiple times, but do to the fact that I am in Afghanistan and have limited internet I thought i would go ahead and ask.

I have a 09 F250 lariat with every option including the upgraded sound system, but does not have Nav. I just recently bought a 09 Nav unit. I was wondering if anyone had a parts list for this instillation for everything to work as if it came from the factory. I will be having the work done at the local ford dealership. Any help would be great. thank you.

contact United Radio - Quality Electronics Service Since 1923 tell them what you have (factory) and what you bought and they will be able to get what you need to install it.

if your adding the nav you will only need the nav radio, the nav antenna , it will all bolt in with no problems, you will need alot more if your doing the sync if your truck did not come with sync system. if so you need to get ahold of 4d-vue.com

Actually, to add the nav to a 2009 truck, that did not come with it, you will need...
  1. Amplifier
  2. Satellite antenna splitter
  3. Right side steering wheel control
  4. Amplifier "T" harness
  5. Move the mic wires from the sync module to the radio
  6. Add wires for steering wheel buttons

As getlucky mentioned, United Radio can set you up...they sell a kit that comes with everything you need for $350. When you call ask for Ron Bourdon.

BTW, 4D-Vue.com is my website for my custom backup camera system.

Thank guys for the help.

sredmyer- On your list of parts could you please explain 5 and 6 on the list. My truck has sync and the phone button on the steering wheel. I understand that the phone button is different from the trucks that come with nav. Do I need to just replace the botton or do I have to replace and add wires as well. thanks for your help.

I just completed my install of a 09-12 navigation unit to my 2010 f350 with sync. Same set-up as you. You will have to get all the parts listed above, the cost is 350.00 but you get amazing tech. support. Total install time about 2 hours.
