need hid help!!!

i have 55w hid from ddm tuning. there the 4500k. they are so bright that almost every car i pass they flash me cause there so bright. i cant even run my fogs cause i feel then its over the top and im scared its gonna run someone off the road. i had this same kit in my 04 f250 and it wasnt this bright or atleast i didnt get flashed this much. maybe it was cause my other was lifted so it was over the cars eye level? i have no idea, do any of you have this problem? what did you do?

I took mine out. They really scatter everywhere. I run them in my fogs but sylvania zxe halogen bulbs in the headlights. They are pretty white for a halogen

the only problems im having are. sometimes they wont come on and i have to turn the lights on and off to get them to come on. and how they are bright and right in on coming cars eyes. can you adjust these?

Could it be the difference in headlamp design causing the different results?

i think so, thats all i can think of. i want to adjust them. i want to have bright lights but not so bright that it can cause harm to others by blinding them.

Yeah cuz the guy I bought my kit from on here said he didn't get flashed much in his 06 and that matches what you said about your 04.

Don't have my truck back yet so we'll see. Hope to have it back before end of next week. I'll point them as far down as necessary. It's a 55w 5000k kit by retro.
