2008 F250 oem NAV install in 2002 ?

I have a 2008 f250. I bid on a few oem head units to up grade my non nav system. I did my install and works great. Now I have 2 other oem head units that I have no use for. I was wondering if its possible to retro fit one of them into my dads 2002 f250 king ranch. Has anyone heard of this or knows anyone who has put the oem Nav in another ford. I know 2008-2010 f250 is plug and play, but I'm sure not 2002 f150. Can I bench test this unit, then wire it into his truck? Wire diagrams for both might give some light on this. Thanks
