Moonroof Will Not Close

Hey guys, I have a '08 King Ranch.. I have been racking my head on fixing this problem.. The moonroof has been working fine till yesterday.. I had it open to the vent position and then closed it when I had a call on my cell... Once I got back on the road I went to open it again and bumped the open button sliding the glass back about 3-4".. When I went to close it, nothing.. Would not budge... It would open all the way but not close...

So when I get to the house I go straight for the rocker power switch in the map light housing thinking its bad.. I was not sure how to get into that till my oldest son said his friend that works at a ford dealership was on the phone and told me to pull from the center real hard.. Nope bad idea.. Now I get to buy a new light assembly... Anyhoo.. I digress...

So now I have access to the switch and tried jumping it out.. Nothing.. All it would do is go back.. so now I take down the back side of the headliner to get to the motor to take it out... Once I get it out I can manually make it go backwards but it is locked going forwards...

Today I buy a new motor at a sweet tune of 170 bones.. Before I mount it I plug it in and test it.. Goes backwards but not forwards.. It can be done manually but for some reason no power is driving it closed....

Anyone have an idea what the hell just happened?? I have tried jumping out the wires at the switch, but nothing.. Is there another fuse besides the 30 amp that controls that package?? I am at a loss.. Any help would be great.. Or even a wiring schematic to see what wires are power and so forth..

See if this helps....sound like you need to reinitialize the motor.

Jason you were spot on dude.. Took 4-5 try's to get it to go, but works like a champ now .. You ever get to the DFW area drop me a PM and I would be happy to buy the first 3-4 rounds..
