Door keypad and Aftermarket alarm

I recently had a viper alarm/remote start installed which is great, but now my keypad is useless because when I unlock the doors with the code it sets off the alarm.

Does anyone know if the keypad can be wired to the alarm so that if the correct code is entered the alarm is disarmed?

Has anyone else dealt with the same situation?

I'm not sure about with a Viper alarm but it is possible with my alarm. I asked the guy that installed it about that and he said it is possible without much work...said if I wanted to do it, he'd come back to my house and do it for $20.
