Bad quality sound
Since first buying my truck I noticed the speakers sound quality is not that good, espically with the bass turned someway up, and they are not blown. Probably the worst I have head in the three vehicles I own. Has anyone else noticed this? Is the fix new speakers? Thanks

You could try new speakers, or amp the stock ones. I always yank everything out of my stuff right away. But more power equals better clarity in most cases. Just an opinion buddy

I should also tell you a co axle speaker vs a stock one is alot more cleaner sounding
Im running alpines in mine, but if I was to change id go with focals for sure.

I still use the stock speakers but the are on a high-pass signal of 100Hz. My subs take care of the rest. They sound much better this way.

I also noticed the same thing. I had a Chevy Tahoe with the Bose system before my F250. When I got in my 250 and cranked it up it started to distort past half volume. So I replaced the two front speakers with JL Audio C3's and a JL Audio 400/4 amp bridged to them. OMG what a world of difference!! A bit of an investment up front, but JL makes the best stuff and will probably outlast your truck. Now I can't crank it past halfway without it hurting my ears. But when I do, it stays CRYSTAL CLEAR all the way up. You get what you pay for.

Thanks guys, I will most likely replace the two front speakers when I put my sub in!
