Speedometer off is it possible

Hey guys I was doing some reading and ran across.a.thread on another forum about the odometer disable well it was on the 07 and later. The I came across the odemeter trick as they called it were u hold the reset button and then turn your key to the run posistion,do any of you guys know if the odemeter on the 08 and newer can be turned off?

did you try that trick?? I know on my buddies 07 dodge he turns his key back ever so slightly and it stops recording milage ahahah i grid it on my ford with no such luck it i found out its just a dodge thing
