For that price I would be looking at aftermarket.
Personally I would want something with a garmin based maps so you can update for minimal cost. Garmin takes time to update their maps. |

I am interested in this too. I just have the factory 6-disc and I'd like to upgrade to a touch screen with GPS and bluetooth. I have seen this one and other like it on ebay. They seem to be a Chinese built unit with so so quality. I have tried digging around on the net about them but it's hard to find info on them since nobody publishes a brand or model number.

Here is what I did , I got a kenwood 6180 unit on sale for $749 and installed myself. Got the rear camera for $137 amazon.
I have the most current garmin map release. The steering wheel adapter $35. |

This actually looks pretty cool.

If anyone decides on a 6180 kenwood unit, do some research unless you feel computer literate and mechanically inclined. The more expensive models are easier to update maps at minimal cost. If you buy the map then it might not be so bad

Thanks for the input gents. I figured this might be too good to be true, especially not finding squat for information on the web about them. I think I am going to research the Car-PC angle...
Cheers! |

^ You got me thinking about the whole car pc thing. There's a whole world I didn't even know existed. I've been searching around and I thought it would be awesome to find a mobile in car PC that operated on the Andriod OS and could sync with my Driod but I haven't really had much success in finding anything.
I did find a unit like the one you posted for a little cheaper. Might be worth the gamble? 2005~2011 Ford F250 F350 DVD GPS Navigation Heavy Duty - Other Ford Models - FORD Navigation Anyone interested in a group buy? |

This is very interesting stuff... I just wonder what kind of support they offer after you purchase it i.e updates, firmware, etc
I Love the factory look, but wonder how good the screen actually is... Also wonder about the accuracy of the GPS and associated maps |

That is the same unit on Ebay under the Concept R store. Windows CE based and an unknown Nav interface. I still think it would be nice but the price compared to the big names makes it a non player imo. Now, the PC based setup is a whole different game altogether and there are plenty of resources out there.... |
