Upgrading speakers??
I'm looking to upgrade all the speakers in the cabin. I have a 10in audiobahn sub running off a true 800w rockford amp and it completely drowns out my speakers. I'm not looking for the high end best of the best just some mid level speakers. Anyone have any experience or info?
Also how hard is it to replace all the speakers? Thanks for any info! |

Kicker makes some speakers that I thought had pretty decent sound for a reasonable price. I put a set in my wife's Jeep along with a PPI amp and 8" JL Audio sub that sounded pretty good to me. Hers were under $200 for all 4 speakers, but they make ones that are a step up with higher power handling for a bit more $, but still reasonable. I've been contemplating dropping the cash on those for my truck. I can come up with a link if I need to.

Speakers are a personal preference. I have had the best luck with Pioneers, both selling them and using. I am in the process of replacing the speakers in my truck with Phoenix Gold and adding 4 12"s and about 6600 watts.
