08 radio issue

I'm having problems with my factory six-disc change. Sometimes it doesn't want to eject or laid CDs and other times it works fine. Is there a way to reset the radio? Or is there an easy fix?

I had this problem on my F150. It used to irritate me! One day I pushed a credit card in there and it pushed the stuck cd in place. Seemed to reset positions and they would eject fine as well. Anytime this happened if get that card out and give a little push. Don't let your fingers off of it though, there will be secondary probs.

Well I tried the credit card and that didn't work. Thanks for the tip though! The dealer says they won't fix it so im just gonna think about putting in a nice touchscreen aftermarket. Have a couple questions though. Will my steering wheel buttons work with this? And how diffulcult is instillation? I'm pretty sure I want to take it somewhere and have them do it, just curious.

I upgraded the stock to a pioneer avic 920bt. That was a great move for me. Every option and it functions well, gps, hands free, bluetooth music streaming, DVD, etc. I didn't even try to install it. It was an hour and a half that would probably have taken me all weekend and a couple follow ups.

Any chance you can give me an idea of how much that cost you? I'm gonna start shopping around next week.

Right around 1000 installed and tax if I remember correct. That was the only negative until I drove away.

I too have a stuck CD (dammit) in my 08 6-disc...

Planning to put a Sony XNV-77BT & a Sirius module given to me by a buddy in its' place. To facilitate using the factory steering wheel controls, I'll use a Pac-Audio Steering Wheel Controller.
