trailer power fuse?
So I was helping out my friend move and went to uhaul to pull a trailor and i have no power to my plug ins on the back. When I bought the truck there wasn't a book with it and I was wondering if anybody can tell me where the fuze is located? Is it under the hood in front of the passenger door? All there is are numbers on the covers. Thanks.

No power as in no charge line or clearance/turn signals?

No power to the lines. When we hooked up the tester there wasn't anything coming back. I have checked the wires as far as I can and they look fine.

What lines? There's 6 that can have power.
There is right turn, left turn, running lights, brakes, charge line, and reverse. Other one is ground, but no power. Also, what year? |

If I remember correctly under hood on passenger side. I blew a fuse one time messing with my boat trailer touching positive to ground
There are quite a few fuses and relays for the trailer. I am too drunk now to list them all. Maybe tomorrow at work I can scan and turn into PDF file the fuse box inside/under hood for you since you do not have a manual. I have a king ranch with tow package so don't know if it makes a difference Last edited by chi6488; 02-05-2012 at 10:57 AM. |

It's an 08 F-250. Nothing back there had power. We looked at the fuses in both places but wasn't able to check all of them and I didn't have a manual either.

If I remember correctly it was a square fuse. I will copy the manual today
