Anyone with these subs and amp?

Well im wanting to get some subs for the truck! Once I sell my old setup from my old truck I will be buying one..Im just wanting to know if anyone has this same setup Im thinking of going with?

heres what im thinking-

Subs..either gonna get one or two? Not sure yet?

JL Audio 13TW5-3 (13TW53)13.5" Single 3 ohm TW5 Thin-Line Sub

Amp..
JL Audio HD750/1
JL Audio HD750/1 Monoblock Class D HD Small Profile Car Amplifier

I dont know alot about ohms and all that crap, I know a little bit but I just want to get some feedback on this setup before I spend the $ on it!

this set up will work well if you just went with 1 sub but will be slightly over powering but sub should handle fine , if you were to go w/2 subs , thats were the ohms thing gets tricky , if you wire them in parallel you will end up with 1.5 ohms ,you will need to get a biiger amp maybe the hd1200/1, some thing that will run 600watts rms x2 @ 1.5 ohms

i have this sub,in my truck see my other post for pics,my buddy has 2 of them and the jl1000 amp and i was impressed enough to do a single 1 in my truck,very happy.

I thought about getting these subs but I went ahead and cut my bed and cab and went with a blow through box with two JL 13.5 W7's.

boostin - hows the sound..pretty loud? I dont need a HUGE amount of bass that shakes everyones windows when I drive by, but I would like some good amount of bass.

And man i dont see how you could just chop through a 40k truck cab just for subs lol

It was not the first option I saw at the end of the tunnel . I had the subs from my avalanche I had them in with the two 1000 watt amps sitting in the garage. I searched for other options but $850 for a stealthbox was not happening. So I began the surgical process LOL. Yes it is extremely loud!! heres the link to the thread JL AUDIO 13.5W7's!!! If you decide to go with these shallow mounts go with the 1000 watt amp vise the 750. Run those subs in series and you will get the most bang for your buck. They peak out at 600 so 500 watts for each sub should make them run perfect.

very good,there is alot of bass for 1 sub,you wont be disappointed,i actually have it turned down some,but i wanted something that would pound pretty hard when turned up,it seems equivelint to a typical pair of 12s,but 1/3 of the air space.

I am running 2 JL 13TW5's in a custom box behind the back seat with a JL 600/1 and with the amp only turned up half way to break in the subs it still hits hard.
