They will be fine. HIDS burn cooler than factory bulbs. Doesnt matter if you run 35/55w.

My only question for you is, why?
I have been running HIDS since before you could buy them.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO need for 55watts.

I have 55w in headlights, and 35w in fog lights and there really is no difference.. I went with a 4300 pure white color bulb.

I would not run 55W in your projectors. Simply too much wattage for the stock harness. Trust me. I burned up a set of stockers.

Running them is possible, will it hurt anything? Try it and find out, different ballasts have diff situations.
Do you need 55watts? Def not.
35watt is plenty bright enough, and cheaper.

I have 55w hi/low 8k in my headlights and 35w 6k in my fog lights. If i were to do it again, I would get 35w 6k, I believe it is the perfect color temp (i hate the blue tint to the high temps) and they are just as bright as my 55w 8k. Also I got them from DDM and has a relay harness so you dont need to worry about burning out the oem harness.

On a side note, if I did it again i would get the slim ballasts as well.

I run a relay harness with a fuse for my 55w hid's. I also hate the blue tint which is why I run 4300k for both.
