Piggybacking a powered sub off the factory sub

Hey guys, new to forum.

I am wondering exactly how I piggyback the audio signal for my powered sub off of the factory 8 inch.

Could I just grab the signal off of the factory wires?

You could do it off a door speaker if you wanted to.

If you can find a wiring diagram I'm sure you could just tap off the L (+)(-) and R (+)(-) going to the factory amp. Personally I think the LOC would be easier.

Where would I start looking for the factory amp?

In most cars it is under the passenger seat. Not sure about the Super Duty's since I don't have a factory sub. Maybe someone can chime it that does know.
