CB radio Coax install location

Looking to add a cobra 29lx to my truck. Just wondering where everyone is running their coax into the cab from? Im looking to get a mount for the corner of my box and running it underneath. Pics would be helpful...thx

I always run mine under the cab and then up and through the fire wall.

The firewalls on these 6.5 are pretty jammed packed. I remember hearing about a cover under the back seat that a few people ran cables through. I just don't want to put any holes in my cab.

I put mine through a hole in the floor beneath the drivers foot area. I replace the rubber plug with a grommet and siliconed around the wire. My feet don't rest there while driving so I have no worries of chafing the wire.

Someone on here did a pretty sick install, mounting the antenna on the drivers side, just behind to the engine hood, opposite the stock radio antenna. I'll let ya know if I can find the post.

Sorry... no luck finding it.

I ran my power, coax, gauge wires and any other wire that may need to be fed threw the firewall threw the clutch master cylinder hole. If you pull the carpeting back up behind the parking break pedal you should be able to see the tape they have over the hole, or maybe see it from the engine bay, can't rember which is eaiser to see. It will be to the outside of the brake master cylinder.
