JL stealth box for the 08

where the hell is JL audio at? I see them building a downfire sub box in the front console. Anyone put ANY aftermarket speakers in yet?

Complete Alpine system installed in my new '08, Video touch-screen head unit, voice activated nav, bluetooth, digital surround sound, ipod and Focal separates speakers. My installer used the factory sub and turns it on with the Alpine head unit. Even have the 10" video/DVD Alpine in the rear roof even with the sunroof.

I'd like to see pictures of your Alpine set up. Everything's Alpine except for the stock subwoofer? What Amp(s) did you use? Alpine's awesome, bet it sounds outstanding.

The amp is a tos-link controlled all digital 5 channel Alpine FRA350 I think. It was difficult to get everything to work together, we even had to get an Alpine gadget from Alpine Europe to make the Alpine navigation unit work correctly. It took the installer three months to get it all to work; I was pretty frustrated by then.

I got a 08 250 crew and I am wondering where you guys think the best place to put a sub would be? I have seen some new boxes that "apparently" fit behind the back seat but I am hesitant. Suggestions?

I went with this box from Home. They were awesome about answering questions and I just love the sub. This is behind the rear seat on the drivers side and has one of the Pioneer shallow 12s in it. I couldnt be happier.

The pictures show the box behind the rear seat on the pass side. If you have the power rear slider like mine it's a different box which goes on the drivers side. Otherwise they are the same.
