i was hoping you would say mirror. the nav uses the canbus to determine if the vehicle is in reverse. and you will have to use the ford loc pick. the mirror uses the reverse lights and is easy to fake out.

08 FX4 with factory setup, display in the mirror. Where is the best place, hopefully under the dash, to hook up a switch. I still have my 10amp open.

i'll try to get something up here tonight. the pin locations should be the same on an 08 i know that if i give you colors they will more than likely be wrong as these harnesses are made in the mexico plant and the colors change within the model year and are usually different from year to year

I'm just curious, but when I do the lockpick thing, does it plug into the OBD II port or is there another way? Only reason I ask is I plan on getting my Livewire to work on this truck, and I don't want to have an issue where I cant run my livewire cause the lockpick has to stay plugged in.

One other thing, the lockpick video said something about being able to run two cameras off the Nav HU, I don't know if its true, but it said you can alternate between them, I thought it'd be cool to have one up front and in back, it'd make parking a lot easier.
Thanks.
