2008 F250 cruise control not working

Anyone had trouble with their cruise control quitting on them?

I was driving in to work this morning and the cruise control wasnt working. this is the first time this has happened, and I normally use the cruise every time I drive it.

I havent had time to look into it yet.

Its a 2008 F250 PSD with 36,000 miles.

I am experiencing the same problem. 2008 F250 PSD with 24K. It has happened multiple times. It will work one day, and the next it will not. I cannot time it right to get it in the shop. Had it looked at by Ford service and they could not get it to replicate. Anyone else having or had this issue???

Yeah, thats what mine does. Most days it works, and I dont realize how much I use it until those days when it decides to fly the coop without me.

On another forum, someone had the same issue. No matter how many times they pressed "ON" and "SET", it didn't work. Turned out to be the brake pressure switch. The truck thought the brakes were applied, so cruise wouldn't work.
