This is what I'm confused about as well. I don't think the '08 super duty nav systems are "sync" systems...

Owning an 08 with the nav system (which has been modified some many months ago.) Its deff not a sync unit. nor is it compatible. I dont believe this will work on our setup (the NAV bypass) but if you find something that does.
sign me up. I found a temp solution called "BRAKES" use them when needed.

It will work on the 08 non sync. That is what I have. I have the nav/ audiophite system with rear entertainment system. It works well.

So are you saying it bypasses the pull over and enter Address info
so you can do it while traveling over 5mph?

There are two Ford lockpicks to chose from.

For the 08 you will want the "non hard drive" version works with or without SYNC (some 2008 Fords did come with SYNC just not the Superduty, keep in mind if you have SYNC you will need the hard drive version)

FORD 360 LOCKPICK

For the 09 you will want the "hard drive" version. Works with or without SYNC (this version has not been released yet)

HARD DRIVE LOCKPICK
