throttle delay

is it normal when u mash these things at speed to be able to actually sit and count to 3 before they take off? seriously my '99 with the 7.3 has MUCH less throttle lag to it

Ya man to be honest.....I really can't remember if mine had THAT much lag or not. I know it had some, but can't for sure say how much. Personally, I wouldn't sweat it, figure out the vibration, and install the programmer. IF it gives you crap after that, its only a couple hours to pull it all off. Either way, GOOD LUCK!

I had the same delay. Tried to kill myself by pulling out in front of a couple of cars thinking it would go, but NOT. When i installed the Spartan 210, it was like, OH YEAH, no more delay or lag. Buy a tuner.

mine's a stock 7.3 with just a few things. no tuner. mine lags but it's just kinda the turbo. this is just my couple pennies but i'm guess there is something in the software just to "save your truck" since once someone tunes theirs it doesn't lag
idk just thinking

I dont have a 6.4 but my dad does, and i cannot say when ive driven it that ive noticed this "delay" its my understanding that the 6.4's being twin turbo and all should have almost no lag or turbo lag whatsoever, im clueless, have the dealer check it out, then get a tuner! should solve it....
