Modern business practices.... The dealers are getting hit so bad with charge back warranty repairs they are denying warranty repairs for nothing plus they make so much more money when the owner pays then when ford pays. I would bet if you ran by another dealer and had an oasis run it would say nothing about a voided warranty.

as i do agree with the fact that his truck probably isnt redflagged , i disagree with the mindset that dealers deny warranty claims for nothing , and i also disagree with the fact they deny it because they get paid more when the customer pays like thats a goal of the dealership

if people had any clue what is involved in warranty claims they would more understand why warranty is denied ,not just to mess with the customer or just because they get paid more , a warranty claim that is charged back on say a headgasket job on a 6.0 , say thats a $3500.00 warranty repair, ok, if the dealer gets audited on that repair , its charged back times 10 ,ford says if you di it once you did it at least 10 times so the dealer would have to pay back 35,000 to ford for a mistake trying to help out a customer with a modified vehicle that new he was taking a chance when he modified the vehicle , so if anyone can find GOOD reason to ***** about not getting warranty work done id like to hear it , a dealer that does do warranty work on a modifed vehicle is doing you guys a huge favor and risking getting there franchise pulled for fraudulant repairs, another thing to keep in mind , is the dealers are independant from ford yes they carry the franchise but its up to the dealer to take a chance to help when fords guideline specifically says no warranty on a vehicle that is being pushed more than it was designed to do, thats why every dealer does things a different way , its up to the dealer to make that call

TO ROCKDOCTOR this wasnt posted toward you necesarliy on what you said but i hear this kind of thing all over this website and just wanted to make a point

thank u for that

I work for a caterpillar dealer, little different because no one modifies D8 dozers lol but yeah if they find out that it was done to a truck or machine and should have been the dealer eats the bill, not 10X but they eat that one, for a smaller dealer, that would suck.
