Front Locking Hubs Look different?????

Sorry am sure this is in the wrong forum, but I am new to this, and I think something is up with my hubs. Its not making any noise or anything like that but I was washing my truck today and noticed that my drivers side locking hub is sticking out about a quarter inch from the inside of the wheel. It will still rotate into a locking and auto position. The passenger side hub is all the in from the middle of the wheel about an inch. It will also still rotate from locked to auto. Does anyone have any idea why this may be like that? Like I said it drives just fine no grinding noises or anything like that

Get a Photobucket account and upload the pic to Photobucket. Then copy the "IMG" code and then paste it on here.

From the pic, it looks like one center cap isn't seated all the way. Looks like there is a gap between the cap and wheel.

How would I fix that? Is it an easy fix? I would rather not have to go into the dealer.

Pull the center caps off and see how the hubs look. If the hubs look ok, see if the caps will go back on properly.

Hey brotha thanks for your help! I went out and looked at it and if you notice in the picture one of the center caps is different than the other. The one that the Hub look like its really deep on is actually a center cap with deep walls on it. So I guess somewhere I acquired the wrong center cap somewhere
