Belt at back of engine 08 6.4

I was having my oil changed the other day and was told that the belt (A/C belt?) was cracked.

Is this actually the A/C belt? I tried looking up but didn't find any pictures.

Thanks

I don't know what you mean by at the back of the engine but the ac belt is up front like the rest of the belts, it is obviously connected to the main crank drive pulley. It has its own tensioner, just loosen the tensioner and take the belt off. I have some instructions I will attach but its straight forward.

While you have that belt off check on the health of that tensioner. The front one goes bad more but usually when the bearings start going bad they will start chewing your belts up. Just a thought

It's the "back" belt if you're looking at the engine from the front, meaning the belt closest to the front cover.

And like someone else said, look at tensioners when you have it apart, but as a safety measure - have new ones on hand, or at least a spare set of wheels to drive to auto parts store to get new ones. No point in putting it together only to have to take it apart again.
