Its a small world!!! You know of any Dancsok's from that neck of the woods? If so, I am related.

Thanks, You will only find 2 superduties like mine in the province running the Transformer Emblem like mine in the back window. The other one is a 09 HD and 6" taller. He has a cabin out at Whitebear. We were out there a month ago with the 2 trucks and will be out there this winter sledding.

Post up pics and I will keep an eye out. Feel free to pm me when your passing through next time. Maybe we can stop for a bite or a brewsky!!

sounds like piss poor alignment, at least in my experience. When you aling a front end the wheels are slightly off to aid in "return to center". Any time we get a front end hit in the shop it requires a front end alingment. I know its hard to tell, but are your tires wearing funny? If the frame measurements were in spec then its in your front end. Caster/camber or toe could be a cause. It'd be worth the 70 bucks to get a front end alingment at reputable shop other than your dealer just to make sure. Good Luck!

Hey everyone..just got my truck (2008 F350) back from the dealership a few minutes ago. They replaced the steering box and booked me in for a wheel alignment as I needed my truck back right away. But STEERING PROBLEM (HARD TURNING AND NOT RETURNING TO CENTER) FIXED !!!!! It is so nice to be able to turn the steering wheel easily, even sitting still, and to have it come back to center without having to do it manually is a real treat. I know I needed a wheel alighment as my right front tire was showing a very slight bit of wear on the outside, but I am booked in and will get that fixed too.

Hope the steering box replacement, after having the steering dampner replaced (dampner, although seized, it made no noticeable improvement in the degree of difficulty to steer nor ability to return to center) helps other people who have the same problem. I was very fortunate to have purchased extended bumper to bumper warranty, so all it cost me was $100.

Thanks to all who replied and made suggestions !
Cheers.....Hank AKA Barry
