Well just as it states

Parked my truck went to leave for work the next morning and heard some grinding!! Not good!! Then bam no fwd movement but metal to metal noise!!. Good thing it was right out the drive way on the street!! Pushed her back and went to work. Came home checked drive line, then opened the diff and oil drained with metal shards!! Its so bad the internal clutch gears seperated and the teeth are worn down. Pinion looks terrible.

Looked at the outside and the yoke has pulled out crushing the sleeve and loosing the preload!! I heard this is a big problem on these 10.5 diffs. Now I just called Randy's Ring and Pinion and they stated that the 9" crush sleeve eliminator kit will work on the 10.5 and its recommended that I do that to avoid this catastrophe again. Ordered new OEM parts and should get her back on the road soon. Just sucks that something so stupid as a crush sleeve could cause so much havoc!! I recommend you guys check your yoke assemblies and if needed highly instal the eliminator kit!
