automatic F350 manual locking hubs/manual 4x4 shifter

the 4x4 works fine both in 4HI and 4LO, but shifting and following the diagram is hard....took me a while to get in back from 4LO to 4HI back to 2HI. i followed the diagram but it seems to take forever to find the gears.

check the mounting bolts for the shifter I was missing one and the others were loose only way i found out is it started rattling pulling hills with 10k trailer on
