4x4 vacume line?

Ok try this one on for size, I was changing my serp belt, the one for the A/C! ( A royal pain in the rear!) and found this vacume tube just hanging from behind the radiator shroud. So I looked arround and couldn't for the life of me find ware it came from or went to! I then pulled it out and it was worn with holes and gouges. Well now I found my 4x4 wont engauge in auto. So I have reason to think that went to the vacume system for the 4x4. could I be right? and dose someone have a pdf for the vacume system so I can trace this?

NO pdf here but that seems like you are on the track with it.

Your vaccum pump is on the drives side above the fuse box under the hood. That would be a good place to start tracing. I am not sure how it get to the passengers side I would assume it follow a frame rail or wiring loom.

I can look on my rig and see if I can give you some info.

X2 mine only works in lock as well...
