Help!!! my truck is locking into 4x4 by itself

i went to leave a friends house and i was backing up and turning and the steering wheel started jumping like it was in 4x4. well i held the brakes and tried to spin a wheel but it wouldnt. it had locked in by itself and the light was not on in the dash. i went to get in my truck this morning and i crank it up before i get in and i here the 4x4 actuater running.


Anyone had this problem???? any help would be great.
