No 4wd low

Had to put my 08 in 4wd this weekend and only had 4wd high. The light for low never lit up and it wouldn't go into low. The high worked fine. Any ideas?

Ok, never have used it but it will still go into high range w/o being in neutral?

Yep - The way mine works is I can go into 4-Hi while rolling. 4-low I need to be stopped, trans in neutral, foot on the brake.
