08 250 differential leaking, AGAIN!
I am getting ready to take my truck back to the dealer to have the rear differential input shaft seal replaced again. The truck has 75k on it and is under extended warranty or I would do it myself, but this is the second one in less than 10k miles? Is there something that could be causing this deeper inside the differential? This dealership does have a tendency to take multiple visits to get something right. Any help would be great! Thanks!!!!

just got it back and they said it was a faulty seal. Could the extra 250hp cause this in any way if the differential bearings are good?

i doubt it... i would assume it was an ok seal but they might have damaged it installing it..some people just hurry and throw stuff together..kenworth dealer replaced a rear main engine seal in our semi..not 10 hrs down the road did it leak like a mofo...and they suggested replacing it while replacing clutch when the one wasnt even bad..if it goees bad again and your not even covered under warranty i would just ***** and say he listen this isnt just a once a time thing..it keeps happening..so fix it right
