weird shutter/vibration.

my 08 now has 104,500 miles on it with 0 problems other than 3 radiators and it always seems to regen at just the wrong times when i am merging into traffic.lol.

lately though when cruising 75ish and the cruise set it will vibrate really bad if i touch the accelerator to speed up.like going up a hill. if the cruise control is off it doesn't do this. and it just started a few weeks ago. any ideas?

i had a similar problem on my GMC last year. turned out to be a frozen rear (at the rear end) ujoint and a bad carrier bearing ( i assume that the ujoint beat the sh*t out of the carrier)

I have a similar problem that started at 6000 miles usually when towing 6000 pounds on cruise at 65 MPH when a hill triggers a downshift. Seems to shift from 5th to 3rd, and rear end shakes.

Have talked to my dealership and was told they have 2 others with the same problem. Ford says to place a shim on the rear axle to change the angle the drive shaft intersects. My dealer said it did nothing for one, and made the other worse.

Am thinking hard about demanding the shim for my truck also too just to register the problem with Ford for future demands that the problem be fixed.
