Throwing code and runs horrible.

My truck is throwing the code P2285 ( Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Low)

Has anyone ever had this code? Any ideas on how to fix it?

The truck needs help starting every morning. (Start it and give it gas for about 30 secs until it idles). White smoke comes out when I do this but goes away after a few secs. It will start fine every time except for the first time in the morning.

Yes, and it gets better but still doesnt start perfectly.

Im not worried that much about the starting, more that code. I just added in the starting problem in case it helped diagnose the problem.

I had the code p2285 a few months ago. Turned out to be the ICP sensor needed to be replaced under warranty due to leaking oil contaminating the sensor and wires. On my '03 the sensor is towards the rear and in a tough spot (PITA). Better have it checked as it will lead to a no start situation.

sounds like you have two problems ,p2285 ,replace icp sensor and conector to make right ,and sounds like you ave a couple injectors giving you a cold start rough runing concern ,get the icp sensor taken care of and do the latest calibration update and see if that dont fix it
