Well, you wouldn't believe it, but yes ONE injector can cause a complete no-start in some situations. I've run across this myself personally more than my share of times.

Well, consider yourself lucky. It's not the worst injector to access. The driver side bank of cylinders are numbered 2, 4, 6 and 8. So, cylinder #6 would be the third cylinder in from the front of the vehicle. To access it, you'll need to remove the air cleaner assembly and the FICM as well as the mounting brackets, in order to enable removal of the valve cover. Once removed, you'll need to remove the nine TX-30 oil rail bolts to gain access to the injectors. If you choose to tackle this repair yourself, DO NOT FORGET to tighten the injector hold-down clamp to 24 ft.-lbs. If you overtighten the bolt, it will have the same effect as not tightening the bolt tight enough.

Could be your fuel injcector control modular. It will cause the same thang to happen. May not be an injector at all. Just my two cents.
