06 F-350 wont even turn over

We took and pluged my budies sct tuner in to my truck off of his 03 and it red my stock file and we puit a tune in to it and tried it and it didnt even turn over then we tried returning the truck to stock and the sct tuner said truck returned to stock but truck still wont do any thing. now when you hook the tuner up to it it wont even reconize any file so did we whipe out the stock program in my truck and is it as easy as re flashing the comp at the dealer??? plese help...

Don't know how true it is, but the ford dealer I do business with is very mod. friendly and they told me on the '05, '06, and '07 will not take programs from an '03 or '04. They changed the software systems.

Your buddies SCT isn't custom tuned is it? Taht will cause an issue for sure

You mean the engine doesnt crank? Meaning the starter wont engage? It sounds like a dumb question but you wouldnt believe how many people dont know the difference between turning over and not turning over! haha

hey guys thanks for the replies i just got word from the dealer and some how the sct tuner shorted out my computer and there ordering me a new one under warranty so now I'me hesitant to do any thing chip wise ow i think if i fry another computer ford's gonna put up a red flag on my truck.

the sct can only tune one V.I.N. (truck) . It only recognizes the original buyer/owner.

You can READ CODES on a different truck ..... but thats it.

If it is 'unlocked' by a SCT dealer, you can use it on another truck
