Speedometer is stuck

Well I have developed a new problem. Driving along and I look down at my speed and I am doing 120kph. Well no way in hell I am doing that so at the next stop light I noticed the Speedo is not going below 40-50kph. Shut the truck off, nothing, pulled fuse #35(instrument cluster) and nothing. Not too sure what to do, aside from taking it to the dealership.

You've got to take it in. the same thing happened to my truck. got stuck a couple of times but it would work again. the last time it stayed. took it in and was told that there is TSB on them. just make sure its stuck when you take it in so they can see for themselves.

Sounds like you have a internal short in the speedometer. I had the same issue and just got it out of the Ford dealeship. It cost around $600 dollars to replace it. They have to replace the whole instrument cluster and reprogram the mileage and engine hours. It takes about 3 days to get it done. Although it's a nuissance not having work I replaecd my because I was thinking about selling the truck to get a newer truck.
