2003 TURBO Installed but......

Got my 03 turbo installed. The dealership put it in. They do real good work here and I trust them. I noticed today that I had a vibration in my exhaust pipe. It dumps out in front of my rear tire. It seems a little more than the stock turbo. Its not a real loud vibration just shakes the tail pipe and all, all the welds on the hangers are good and turbo is mounted and installed correctly. The guys at the dealership said everything looks good. I asked a friend that installs turbo on custom cars, he told me it could be the amount of air? the variable pitch? Im at a loss. I can live with it if yall think its ok? No future damage? any help!!

You probably have checked this but is the downpipe clamp tight? If so, is it seated correctly around the flange on both the turbo and the downpipe?

just cause you brought it to the dealer doesnt mean they cant make mistakes. just double check everything. how's the whistle with your 03 turbo. bet it sounds awesome huh

how did you get them to install a 03 turbo? is that all they had in stock or they didnt care?

I bought a turbo at a truck place and dealership installed it for me. I have bought probably 10 trucks from them. They are pretty good with me. Only charged me $150 to put it in. and got me a hardware kit also! They thought it was pretty cool when it was finished

well if it didnt do it before you took it in, i would have them check it over just to make sure. sounds like they are pretty cool to deal with.

yea. thanks for the help. like I said, I can live with it, i cant see the tip driving, just the long term damage I was worried about. But, ill run it back to them tomorrow. Might be a easy fix!
