'04 Excursion, need help
I've got an 04 6.0 Excursion that I bought new. It has 225k mi on it and has had an injector problem since about 15k mi. Ford fixed it several times and I have had it in the shop 4 times since the warranty went out. The problem is always the same. It cranks hard and seems to be running on less that 8 cylinders. It takes forever to warm up. It has no acceleration and actually boggs down if you try and step on it. When it gets good and warmed up, it will run OK but not strong like it should. The last time in the shop Ford replaced all injectors and just about everything else including the "brain" as they call it. I have gotten about 15k out it and it is right back cranking hard, missing and has no power.
Can anybody help? Thanks, Buck Gardner Memphis TN buck@buckgardner.com 901 946 2996 ofc |

No coolant loss. The problem has been and continues to be with the injectors is what I think. It has always had a problem with cranking hard, idling rough and no power. It boggs down when I put the pedal down to accelerate.
Thanks, Buck Gardner |
