Got it running ran 5 mins, drove down the road, and died..... Jumped again, got back home, and right before I got in the garage and died again... ANY IDEAS? BATTERY?? ALTERNATOR??

Can you pull any codes off of it? That would be a great help in diagnosing any problems.

Maybe your batteries don't have enough voltage to keep the PCM going and the alternater can't handle charging the batteries and powering the PCM. Try running your truck with all of the accesories off and see if it will stay running.

In dec. It died after not driving it a month. I went to advance and the guy tested the driver side battery and alternator. Said it was good. I wasnt sure if a cell could be dead in one making the other work harder and it cant handle it..

Once I got down the road and it died, to get back to the house I ran with no headlights radio of anything else on and it died when I put it in park....

Idk if this helps...

oh yeah, it doesnt show signs its about to die, it just shuts off... I would feel comfortable putting new batterys since I will be driving it daily now, (my daily driver took a sh*t) but i dont wanna spend the money on batts if you guys think it could be something else....Anything else to check?

Pull the alt. off and take it in to have it bench tested. Make sure that both batteries are fully charged. Batteries with low voltage can kill an alternator.
