Just changed head gaskets. Heads were milled to .008 below min specs, also installed new injectors and stand pipes. Truck fired up after a very long time of cranking. Idled great for about an hour, drove it about 1.5 miles and it shut down. would start after cooling down but idle was rough and had to pull it back to the shop. Key was on while pulling. Once at the shop it was hydro locked. Pulled injectors on right side and pumped starter. # 1 had lots of fuel blow out but is still hydro locked i'm guessing on right side . all the injectors I pulled looked good ,no broken or cracked tips. 2006 f360 6.0. any ideas?:dunno::dunno:
Pull the glow plugs out of the other side and see if it moves. If not then perhaps a valve came into contact with a piston or two, bent it, and now its locked down.
After pulling the heads I noticed that someone had used a fire extinguisher on the drivers side around the fire wall area, ipr valve was covered also. I'm thinking that the heat screwed up the plastic coating on wires in the harness but didn't effect anything until I moved them to remove the heads. Fuel is going into the cylinders with the key turned on and engine not running. Thinking injectors are being commanded to stay open. Doe's this sound right to anyone else?
