Oil Leak Additives

I was watching a couple of shows the other day when it talked about if you had a head gasket failure to use Bar's Leak products. Has anyone used any and do they work? I haven't had the pleasure of having a head gasket fail yet, (knock-on-wood) but it says that you can get the repair or fix additive and it should help. Also they sell a Rear main seal repair additive as well. Since I have a little leak from behind the engine, just wondering about adding something, but I don't want to hurt the engine.

Bars leak works great for what I have used it for, mostly radiator fins leaking. I dont know how it would work on a HG!

I am not sure where my oil leak is, but I think it is by the ICP sensor since it is not a bad leak. Just wondering if there is something that can fix it, without trying to get back there to change the sensor (that is still good) and find an O-ring.
