Okay, I'm leaving on a trip in a week and have some new problems I need to fix NOW. I bought my 6.0 in October, decided to move to Colorado the week later so I left it in my shed and I just pulled it out. I don't have any power steering or power brakes at idle - 1500 rpm. It also feels like my pickup doesn't have any power until that 1500-2000 rpm mark either. Like the turbo isn't spooling until we get that high...sounds like stuck vanes? Can stuck vanes have this effect on the steering and brakes? Also, if I run it very hard at all it'll throw the wrench light and go into limp mode and I can't go over 2k so I basically can't even drive the thing.
Are all these problems related? I'd like to think I can just put a new turbo in it and it'll be perfectly fine...please help me so I can take my 6.0 on this cross country road trip!
