New Guy, changing the fuel filter on 6.0?

I'm trying to change the fuel filter on my 04 F250. It has the 6.0, I have a Chiltons manual and it says I have to release the presure. I found the water seperator canister on the left frame rail in front of the gas tank. It says there a valve there. I don't see it, do I have to remove the cap on the water seperator?

Thanks, Kelly

Does anyone know what size socket the cover takes on the water sepeator on the fram rail? It looks like a 1 1/2" or so. I don't have one, will probably make one once I figure out the size.

Thanks, for all the help everyone.

Motocraft forsure....their filters have a pattend and no one else can make em just like ford...they are gonna make the best ones that come out...all the others are just a little shorter, or thinner...so everything wont get filtered and some stuff can slip past on MOST filters besides motorcraft
