Well I am stumped, I replaced my clutch fan this past winter. I just got back from a 1500 mile trip pulling my 7x16 trailer ~6500#. Bout 100 miles from home, my truck over heats. and now I am getting the P0528 code. At the beginning of the trip, I could hear the fan kicking in and cooling the engine, but now no fan. is it possible the clutch fan went out already, or is it possible the speed sensor is actually trashed in the line somewhere?

Will i need to replace the whole clutch or is there a harness i can purchase to replace it with?

Found the problem:
If you look closely there are no wires sticking out:

This is what is left of the harness:

Yup your fan ate the harness. You will need a new clutch as the clutch harness is made into the clutch and plugs into the engine side harness. Looks like you may need both.

You probably did not secure the harness properly.
