door chime wont stop on my 05

90% of the time once I pull the key and open the door the chime just keep on going until I close the door. Open it up to get in and it sarts chiming before the key goes in?

any idea's 47K on the truck so bumper to bumper is over

My guess is the little blue wire inside the ignition switch that is the signal for the chime may be grounded against something else. Just shooting in the dark, but when i unhooked mine, I just tucked it away and didnt tape it, Well it didnt take but a little while and it had vibrated into something in the ignition and was dinging all the time, key or no key. Just a thought tho.
