should i be worried

i have a 05 super duty and its fine but i'm thinking about buying a excursion and should i be worried about the first 2 years of the 6.0 with 80 and 90 thousand miles on them

the early 03's had some problems. but if you egr delete and get some headstuds, then that truck will be bullet proof

Its hit or miss, My 04 has about 150K without any of the common 6.0 problems ie: puking, egr valve, egr cooler.

Get a oasis ran on the truck and see what comes up.

i would have to say its hit or miss i have an 06 with 52XXXmi and have had the fan, EGR, and the EGR cooler replaced but got a buddy with an 04 121xxx and the only thang done to it is oil...

id rather have a early production 03 and 04 than a 05 model , early years had less comon problems than the 05 , to me the 05 had every common 6.0 problem that is out there

I'm glad to hear that bit of reassuring info, most of the time everybody wants to bash on the early 6.0 trucks.
