07' High idle issue

Truck has 25k miles, no programmer only exhaust.

Idles at 1300-1400 rpm when at operationg temp. Cruising RPM is off also, I was seeing 2k rpm @ 45mph.

Truck sounds like it is at normal rpm..but tach says diff.

KOEO tach reads 400-500rpm and when the key is off it is sitting at 300rpm.

Bad cluster?

Also...about 6mo ago my speedo was off.

Was showing 45mph when i was doing about 25.

I turned the truck off, re-started and it was fine never a issue since.

Sounds like a bad cluster. My 06 did this and have been 35k miles with the new one with no issues.

Hold the odometer reset button on the cluster for 3 seconds or so and turn the key on while your still holding the button and it will go into a diagnostic mode, as soon as it does so you can let off the button and either the first menu or second is a sweep gauges option, it will reset them back to factory.

Mine has a speedo problem every once in a blue moon and I just do that and it works.
