truck died at 40 mph

it was -1F here last night with a wind chill of -25F. i started my truck this morning after it had been plugged in for over a day and it fired with no trouble. let it run for about 20 minutes before i left. after i had been driving for around 10 minutes my truck started to shake, then just died in the middle of the road. i cranked about 4 times and no start. i plugged in my SCT and put the STOCK tune back on and it fired and ran fine after a couple of minutes. i still dont have the chip on (had it on extreme street).... any thoughts? what should i do about the tune?

my first thought with you saying started to shake, would be the engine running out of fuel?

I would definetly call Eric and see what he has to say...
